The Italplant SAFETY TIG toroidal indexers are large-capacity, slim-profile globoidal cam mechanisms that operate on the same indexing principle as the other rotary tables in our range. Their key difference is that they drive a ring rather than a dial plate.
The toroidal architecture provides a generous free space in the central area, ideal when maximum clearance is required. This opening allows not only the routing of cables and services, but also the integration of assembly stations, pick-and-place units, robots, and other equipment directly within the machine envelope—avoiding external installations that would consume valuable floor space.
